French Electronic producer James Kent, aka PERTURBATOR, provides deep, powerful and
unique synth-inspired music, bringing the 80s into a dystopian chaotic future. Always pushing
his music to “avant-garde » uncharted territories since 2011, PERTURBATOR also pushed
boundaries away on stage with incredible performances all around the world.
In 4 years, PERTURBATOR went from small clubs to the biggest festivals (Hellfest, Download,
Psycho Las Vegas, Graspop, etc..), ending playing this last summer in front of 500 000 people
at Polandrock Festival. After some works for Cult Of Luna, and HEALTH, or lately, for the pope
of electronic music, Jean-Michel Jarre, James Kent will be curating the next Roadburn Festival and
perform a commissioned piece with Johannes Persson (Cult Of Luna). After 3 runs as
headliner in the US, 4 in Europe / Russia, and 1 in Australia, PERTURBATOR will come back
again this fall in Europe, followed by 2 unique shows in Russia in November, and for the first
time in Japan and New Zealand in January 2020 in addition of his new Australian tour at the
same period. A new album is expected in 2020.
