VASA spend the long Glasgow nights shamelessly flirting with Shoegaze and Math Rock before going home to the comforting arms of their one true love: a Big Fucking Riff. It’s cool though, the Riff is allowed to see other people too. This arrangement has been ongoing since 2012 with the results being birthed in the form of debut album ‘Colours’ in 2015, swiftly followed by stand alone single ‘Burst Open’ in 2016. The intervening years have seen them tour relentlessly through the UK and Europe whilst sharing stages with the likes of And So I Watch You From Afar, Deafheaven and Russian Circles. Despite being away from home so often, they’ve stayed together with The Riff and they both look forward to welcoming a new addition in 2020.
