From the ashes of several death metal, kraut rock and synth bands, Floating was formed in Uppsala, Sweden in 2021. Aiming to push the boundaries of what death metal can be, they have since released two albums. "The Waves Have Teeth" in 2022 and "Hesitating Lights" in 2025. The band that Metal Hammer has called "The Cure if they were a death metal band" is now bringing their distortion of death metal to ArcTanGent 2026.
