During the 2010s, HECK became known as one of the most notoriously exhilarating and chaotic live bands the UK has ever produced. The fire burned bright, and following the release of their only full-length album ‘Instructions’ in 2016, the group disbanded shortly after. Now 10 years on, the band have pledged to return for one final show as a celebration of the album’s legacy. HECK will return to the stage for the final time Friday 21st August 2026 at ArcTanGent festival, after this the band will never appear live again. Heck’s music has been described as “hardcore”, “math-rock” and “general extreme noise” by various critics, the latter of which has become a mantra of sorts that the band wears as a badge of honour. Over the years Heck brought pandemonium to Download, Reading and Leeds, Glastonbury and SXSW to name a few as well as touring with the likes of Enter Shikari, Limp Bizkit and the Wildhearts.
