PSYCHONAUT

WEDNESDAY

Psychonaut are a trio hailing from Belgium, who have carved out a distinct place in the European post-metal landscape - not by being the loudest or the most extreme, but by being the most deliberate.

Stefan De Graef (guitar, vocals), Thomas Michiels (bass, vocals) and Harm Peters (drums) build music that can breathe just as easily as it can crush. The echoes of Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and Tool are definitely there, but filtered through a modern post-metal sensibility: expansive, dark and never predictable.
