Chicago-based cosmic and cataclysmic quartet REZN has forged a unique path in underground metal, blending the stark, monochromatic depths of heavy music with the kaleidoscopic elements of psychedelia, prog rock, and shoegaze. Since their inception, REZN has maintained a fiercely independent spirit, crafting a fully realized aesthetic and building a fervent cult following. As experienced sound engineers, gear heads, and DIY veterans, they’ve created a body of work that is uncompromising in its speaker-rattling dirges and lysergic sonic explorations. With four self-released albums—Let It Burn (2017), Calm Black Water (2018), Chaotic Divine (2020), and Solace (2023)—REZN has earned a place in the international underground heavy psych scene, performing at distinguished festivals across North America and Europe.
