Indulging in their heaviest and gentlest sonic impulses, SKLOSS formed in Austin, TX between American drummer/vocalist Karen Skloss and Scottish guitarist/vocalist Sandy Carson during the COVID lockdown. Surrounded by drums and amps and the need to play loud, the sonic sound of SKLOSS was birthed from heavy psychedelia, post-metal drones, meditative drums, and raw distorted riffs performed with honesty and deliberation. The result is a powerful, atmospheric wall of ‘spacegaze’ to a volume much louder than you’d expect from a duo.
