Active from 2002-2010, Oxford’s Youthmovies earned a reputation as a compelling & unpredictable live act. The band toured extensively, alongside improvised performances, collaborations & live soundtracks in galleries, theatres & forests. Youthmovies sound is dense, restless & jarring. They touch on noise, post-rock, psych, jazz & krautrock - not only in the same song but often in the same breath.
